The traditional essence of creating tequila combined with modern processes to enhance the properties that distinguish a premium tequila in every bottle, in every sip.
Tequila Infinito is made of 100% Blue Agave grown in the dark volcanic soil of Amatitán, Jalisco, the birthplace of tequila. This unique soil, plus a perfect weather, provide its distinctive flavors and aromas. The finest +6 years old agave is carefully hand-selected by the Infinito experts ‘jimadores’.
The agave piñas are naturally steam-based cooked for 12 hours in a stainless steel autoclave. We use from 7 to 8 kilograms of agave to produce one liter of tequila. The natural cooking and the quantity of agave used distinguish Infinito as a top-premium Tequila.
The cooked agave comes out from the oven, emanating a beautiful warm and sweet honey aroma. Then, the agave is crushed to extract the rich juices to be fermented. The remaining agave fibers are kept either to fertilize new agave fields or to produce other products.
After being fermented, the savory sugars extracted from the cooked agave are tuned into tequila through distillation. Our expert ‘maestro tequilero’ carefully separate heads and tales of the alcohol, keeping the best quality spirit for Infinito.
Infinito Blanco goes straight to the bottle, keeping the herbaceous flavors and aromas of the agave. Reposado, Añejo and Extra-añejo go to the white oak barrels instead. Infinito is rested from 3 months to 3 years to acquire the beautiful woody color and notes that delight the most exigent palate.
